Individual Therapy

Asking for help takes courage, reflects initiative and demonstrates self-awareness. The goal of individual therapy is to help you undergo a process of change in which you experience relief from suffering and achieve understanding, acceptance, healing and growth.

No two individuals are the same. For that reason, your therapist will draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet your own unique needs.

Our therapists have experience working with child, adolescent and adult clients to address a wide range of concerns, including normal life transitions, depression, anxiety, ADHD and other developmental disorders, bipolar disorder, relationships, grief/loss, divorce, learning disorders, LGBT issues, men’s Issues, women’s issues, diversity, career challenges, eating concerns and trauma, among others.

Through a relationship built upon mutual respect, trust and unconditional acceptance, we will provide an open, non-judgmental space for you to express your thoughts and feelings.

Our wish for you is that, through individual therapy, you will feel empowered to live authentically, to accept and work through the full range of sometimes difficult feelings and to improve and deepen your relationship with yourself and others.

Call us at (615) 582-2882, email clientcare@nashvillepsych.com or contact us here to get started. We’ll respond quickly because you shouldn’t have to wait when you are having a difficult time.
